About the ING International Survey
The ING International Survey (IIS) aims to gain a better understanding of how retail customers – and potential customers – of ING Bank around the globe spend, save, invest and feel about money.

Four times a year, around 1,000 people in countries in Europe, Asia Pacific and elsewhere are surveyed on different topics related to personal finance, with the results publically available. The IIS upholds the objective in ING’s mission statement to "set the standard in helping our customers manage their financial future”. The first in this programme of studies was the Q4 2011 survey on saving, revealing attitudes of more than 18,000 people in 19 countries. The results were released in January 2012.
