Economics plays a role in our everyday lives – and it is played out on TV as well. The website The Economics of Seinfeld lists instances when storylines in the popular 1990s TV show illustrated economics ideas. It includes signaling in an episode called The Apartment and cost-benefit analysis and incentives in an episode called The Baby Shower.
